New Store..

Since its unveiling earlier this year, Nike Sportswear recently hit its full-stride with the Olympics as Nike looks to achieve the ultimate balance of performance and design together in their products. They’ve dedicated a special retail experience with the imminent opening of the first Nike Sporstwear flagship store, Mercer Street on August 22nd. The Mercer Street location will be the only place worldwide which stocks the Nike Sportswear collection in its entirety. In addition, the space will feature the launch of the one-of-a-kind Nike Sportswear Bespoke program which allows for customization of select footwear styles as well as house products exclusive to Mercer Street. As part of the festivites, the store will also host a block party for esteemed guests as they offer an early glimpse into the store’s decor and offerings on August 21st. The Block Party will include presentations from Robert Wilson, Noah Khosbin, skater Shingo Iwasaki, BMX rider Nigel Sylvester as well as works by Timothy McGurr (13th Witness), photographer Boogie and Heron Preston.

At the conclusion of season four last September, the boys had little hope or money after a disastrous screening of the movie "Medellin" at the Cannes Film Festival. Someone hook me up with these...

UNDFTD Tokyo will be releasing the second version its its Regional Strike tee. The tee is simple, coming in a black or white color scheme, with Undefeated stenciled across the front and TKO to resemble its Tokyo chapter. There is a traditional UNDFTD strike logo on the back neck portion as well. They will only be available at the Tokyo store beginning August 8th, so be on the look out since that day is starting to become an epic event.

Sprint loses another 901,000 subscribers

it’s time for you to quit, Sprint. There’s simply no other way to put it. The most infamous losing carrier has released it’s quarterly earnings report, and things are not looking much better than they were last time around. Sprint lost 901,000 subscribers last quarter, amounting to a financial loss of $344 million or 12 cents a share. Sure, it’s a marginal improvement over the previous quarter’s results, but when you’re scraping the bottom of the barrel like this there’s really not much to rejoice about. There’s no telling how long the company can hold on, but considering a fire sale might be a necessary step before bankruptcy comes a’knocking. And you want might to save whatever image you have left by not having your CEO practically beg for your business in advertisements. Just a thought.
